Amal Al-Saudi is a business development expert with over 30 years of experience in trade finance across the MENA region, particularly in Libya and Europe. Throughout her career, she has built long-term relationships with prominent clients from financial institutions and commercial sectors, contributing to exceptional business growth and enhanced international cooperation.

She served as Head of Trade Finance Sales for Europe – Libyan Business at ABC Bank London for over 30 years, where she was responsible for managing and developing relationships with Libyan banks, major financial institutions, and international companies operating in Libya. She also founded AYA Consulting, a specialist in trade and commodity finance for MENA clients.

Amal Al-Saudi has a proven track record, having played a pivotal role in facilitating major trade contracts.

Amal Al-Saudi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology and Computer Science from Kuwait University.

Bassam Al Ali is a seasoned banking professional with extensive experience in treasury and financial management. Currently serving as the Deputy Group CEO – Treasury and Investments at Ahli United Bank, Bahrain, he plays a key role in overseeing the bank’s liquidity, profit rate risk management, funding strategies and investments. With a career spanning over 15 years in treasury, he has successfully led initiatives to enhance financial performance, optimize asset and liability management, and strengthen regulatory compliance.

Holding a Master’s degree in Quantitative Finance from Westminster University, UK, and a CFA certification, Bassam has demonstrated strong expertise in risk management, interbank relations, and strategic financial planning. Throughout his tenure, he has contributed significantly to enhancing liquidity frameworks, executing funding strategies, and leading high-performing teams within the organization.

A member of key financial committees, including the ALCO (Asset & Liability Committee), Bassam continues to drive innovation and excellence in treasury operations, ensuring the bank remains resilient in a dynamic financial landscape. General Secretary of Sabratha University of Sabratha and a member of the faculty at the university and in charge of managing the research and consulting center at the university. He has many published researches in the field of accounting. He was assigned the duties of the Manager of the Department of Cultural Cooperation at the Sabratha University of from 2/2016 until 3/2017. He was a member of the founding committee of the University of Sabratha in 2015, a Professor and a member of at the Faculty of Economics and Accounting at Zawia University from 2006 to 2015. He taught most accounting subjects and supervised many graduation researches for students. He worked on the general accounts of Zawia Oil Refining Company from 1986 until 3/1999.

Varied practical experience reaches 33 years, through which he benefited from the implementation of various works, membership and chairing of many committees and work teams, as well as many local and foreign courses.

Former Vice President of the Arab Banking Corporation in Payments and Correspondence to Banks field, where he spent 19 years there on different periods of time in Bahrain, London and Milan.

Currently, he is the director of Tuareg Capital, a private joint stock company specialized in the field of investment in Libya.

A private consultant with FIBRA International, a global network of senior strategic advisors, and a consultant for several European institutions working in the Arab world.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Finance from Pepperdine University, California, in 1985.

Mr. Sameh Abu Taleb holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Al-Zarqa University, Jordan, and a Master’s degree in Information Technology Management from the University of Wollongong, Australia. He has further enhanced his executive acumen through advanced programs at Harvard Business School and IESE Business School.

With more than 24 years of distinguished experience spanning the banking and technology sectors across the GCC, Middle East, and North Africa, Mr. Abu Taleb currently serves as Acting Group Chief Executive Officer and Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer – Technology & Operations at Kuwait Finance House – Bahrain. He also sits on the Boards of the United Bank for Commerce and Investment S.A.C. in Libya and BENEFIT B.S.C.(c) in Bahrain.
