Mr. Khaled El Sayed El Helaly is a seasoned banking professional with over 25 years of experience in trade finance, retail banking, and banking operations management. He currently serves as the Acting General Manager of the United Bank for Commerce and Investment – Tripoli, where he leads strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, improving customer service, and ensuring compliance with governance and risk management standards.

Throughout his career, he has held several key leadership positions, including Central Operations Manager and Deputy Head of Retail Banking, where he demonstrated his ability to lead teams, drive growth and profitability, and develop effective business strategies. He also possesses extensive expertise in trade finance and documentary credits, in addition to overseeing treasury and retail banking operations in line with international standards.

Mr. El Helaly holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Finance major) from Menoufia University – Egypt, along with several professional certifications from reputable banking institutions, such as Certified Islamic Banker, Certified Branch Manager, and a Specialized Diploma in Trade Finance from the American University in Cairo. He has also participated in advanced programs in leadership, training, and talent development.
